Lesson Introduction:

Review 3 types of angles, Dicsuss contruction of rays to angles and vertex; 


Procedures:

1.     Demonstrate the use of a protractor on SMART board

2.     Have the students draw an angle of graph paper (Students are to construct all 3 types of angles)

3.     Label the angle measurements

4.     Classify the angle

 

Assessment: Students will create their own angles working with a partner and measure and classify each angle type.

 

 

Technology Skills Needed by Students:

·         Learn how to touch the screen of the SMART board

·         Learn how to use the SMART pens
